Soderberg to Leave Maersk Month Earlier

Nils Smedegaard Andersen will take up the position as Group CEO in AP Moller-Maersk A/S on November, 5 of the year 2007 and withdraw from the Board of Directors of AP Moller-Maersk A/S on the same date, reports the press-service of the company.

Jess Soderberg will retire as Group CEO of AP Moller-Maersk A/S and from other managerial responsibilities within the Group on the same date.

It should be pointed out that earlier it was expected that Jess Soderberg will leave AP Moller-Maersk A/S in December of the current year.
