ICCS welcomes guests from Cargo World China Summit

The 2nd Annual Cargo World China Summit, supported by IATA and CAAC, was held from 1st – 3rd Apr in Shenzhen P.R.China. More than 100 executives of airlines and forwarders participated along with representatives of various official institutions such as Shenzhen Customs, Shenzhen Municipality and Shenzhen Airport.
In his speech during the event, Dieter Oppel, General Manager of ICCS, gave an overview of ICCS’s views and necessary actions needed, in order to survive and overcome the prevailing economical crisis.
A tour of Shenzhen airport was part of the event and over 90 registered guests from the summit visited ICCS on 1st of Apr as part of airport tour. The visitors were guided through the new ICCS Terminal No. 2 in three groups and were introduced into the handling facilities and processes of ICCS. Quite a few requests were received by some delegation members, to have an exchange of expertise and even training of their staff by ICCS.
