Shenzhen Airport mail cargo volume falls 35pc in January

SOUTH China's Shenzhen Airport experienced a 35 per cent decrease in mail cargo volume to 36,400 tonnes in January, suffering declines for eight consecutive months since June 2008, says Logistics Week.

Though airport cargo volume fell, its passenger volume reached 2.09 million with a 17.9 per cent increase in January while the aircraft movement stood at 17,100 times, up 6.8 per cent.
