Volga-Dnepr's Boeing 747 telecommunications delivery to Chad

RUSSIA'S largest air cargo carrier, Volga-Dnepr Airlines, has delivered two special metal structures for communications towers to N'Djamena in the Republic of Chad.


The 95 tons shipment was transported from Toronto to the Chadian capital using a Boeing 747 freighter for the flight.


Volga-Dnepr Airlines group's core business areas are charter services using AN-124-100 and IL-76 freighter aircraft (Volga-Dnepr Airlines) and Boeing 747 scheduled cargo operations (AirBridgeCargo Airlines).


Its fleet comprises 10 AN-124-100s, eight IL-76TDs, including two modernised IL-76TD-90VD and seven Boeing 747Fs.
