Dell to head Western sales for Con-way Freight

Less-than-truckload carrier Con-way Freight has appointed Timothy Dell as vice president of sales for the western area.

   Dell is responsible for 15 states, including North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Texas. He joined Con-way Freight in 1998 as an account executive at its Orange, Calif., facility and later became senior account executive. Most recently, he was regional sales manager for the territory covering Southern California. He'll be based out of Con-way's Buena Park, Calif. office.
