Volga Shipping: Summer Navigation Results

During the 4 months of the summer navigation the vessels of Volga Shipping transported 3.200 mn tons of cargo, reports the press-service of the company.

25% of all cargo transported is brimstone. The route Buzan – Kerch is operated by 25 dry cargo vessels of Volga-Don type and 5 thousand tons capacity.

By the end of August the company plans to have transported 800 thousand tons of brimstone. In 2006 during the summer navigation there was transported 670 thousand tons of brimstone.
