Cargolux launches Luxemburg-Cairo-Hong Kong service

CARGOLUX Airlines has commenced a new Boeing 747 freighter service from Luxemburg to Cairo that continues onwards to Hong Kong.

The service departs from Luxemburg every Tuesday at 0830 hrs, arriving in Cairo at 1335 hrs. The flight then heads for Hong Kong.

Forwarders have identified a need for air freight capacity between Europe and Egypt, the carrier was cited as saying in a Journal of Commerce online report.

It added that shipments are expected to mainly comprise of consumer goods and cargo for the oil and gas industry.
