AirBridge revenue up 55 percent

  Russian air carrier AirBridgeCargo Airlines said has seen its revenue grow 55 percent in the first 11 months of 2008, to $423 million.

   The airline did not release details of its profits, but said growth in October and November Despite the challenging global economic conditions??meant the company made money for the year.

   ABC carried more than 24,000 tons of cargo in October and November, an 11 percent increase over the same two months in 2007. For the year through November, volume has risen 31 percent.

   AirBridgeCargo is Russia's first scheduled cargo airline, using Boeing 747 freighters on routes between Russia and Europe.
