Intercontainer said it's now offering railroad combined transport services between Rotterdam and six terminals in Central and Southeast Europe.
The company said trains leave Rotterdam on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Containers are then shipped via its CTH Herne hub in the Ruhr on to Sopron and Budapest Bilk in Hungary; Bradu de Sus and Bucharest in Romania; Thessaloniki, Greece; and the Halkali terminal in Istanbul, Turkey. In the northbound direction, containers headed for onward shipment by sea arrive in Rotterdam on Mondays and Fridays.
