Weber hires Ng from APL

 Southern California-based Weber Distribution said Wednesday it has hired Herb Ng as director of warehouse operations.

   Ng will be responsible for the company's Inland Empire facilities, which include four distribution centers totaling more than 1 million square feet of capacity.

   Ng was with APL Logistics as a general manager based in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., where he was responsible for all operational and financial aspects of the facility. Ng also worked for APL Logistics in Indianapolis and Columbus, Ohio.
