Green Chip Cargo - new Polish rail operator

CTL Logistics and Strabag created a new joint-venture company - Green Chip Cargo Sp. z o.o., which will operate on an area of railway logistics designed for client's needs, Railway Market - CEE Review reported.

Strabag SE, which has its headquaters in Austria, is one of the leading construction companies in Europe. CTL Logistics, from Warsaw, is a private, innovative rail operator. Both companies will organize most of the transport of raw materials to the biggest building sites and factories in Poland.

Already in 2009 Green Chip Cargo will transport approx. 1 million tons of different raw materials from quarries to their destination. First 15 Polish transportation relations were designed especially for client's needs. CTL will provide the new company with rolling stock and skilled engine drivers.
