Loading and unloading of the container is simple as no manual lashing is required.
The second new container, the Hard Open Top Low Cradle Container has three transverse cradles in which coils with a diameter between 90 to 120 cm can be loaded. The container can be handled with the same crane grippers or forklifts that are used for handling the coils and both containers can be lifted safely with a load of up to 40 tonnes.
Many more global and smaller local suppliers are exhibiting their latest products and systems at Intermodal 2008.
