Former Cathay CEO Turnbull joins Seabury Asia

Aviation investment banking and consulting company Seabury Group said Tuesday it has hired former Cathay Pacific Chief Executive David Turnbull as chairman of its Asia division.

   Seabury said Turnbull would also remain executive chairman of Hong Kong-based Pacific Basin Shipping, where he has served since 2006. Seabury said it recently formed Seabury Asia in response to growing demand for aviation, aerospace, cargo and maritime financial advisory and strategic services.

   Joining Turnbull in Hong Kong is Ian Malin, who will become Seabury Asia vice president, responsible for business development and day-to-day operations.
