Sandberg appointed head of SAS Cargo's global sales

SAS Cargo has appointed Michael Sandberg to vice president of global sales, effective Dec. 1.

Sandberg replaces Nils Pries Knudsen, who will leave SAS Cargo at the end of the year to join Swissport International.

Sandberg was sales director for Forbruger-Kontakt, a Scandinavian logistics firm. He started his career at Mahe Freight A/S in sales, before moving on to TNT Denmark as sales and marketing director, and Universal FDX as managing director. In 2001, Sandberg co-founded the consultancy firm Doit Global.
