The Department of Homeland Security has promoted Christa Brzozwoski to director of cargo policy, responsible for helping set guidance for trade security programs administered by Customs and Border Protection, the Coast Guard and the Transportation Security Administration.
Brzozwoski replaces Lauren Zucker, who has moved within the Policy Directorate, to the recently created Office for State and Local Law Enforcement as director of policy, both women confirmed.
Brzozwoski was senior policy analyst for cargo.
