Sunland Distribution's new chief executive officer Arch Thomason has relocated the company's headquarters in Greenville, S.C., and appointed Brad Lyon to vice president of operations.
Thomason, Sunland's former vice president of business development, recently acquired the company. He plans to add 25 employees to the operation.
In an Aug. 12 statement, Thomason said the changes will afford us greater efficiency, effectiveness and will truly benefit our clients, and allow us to grow our business.
Sunland was started by Sam Cole in 1982. The company operates 10 contract facilities across North and South Carolina with a total of 2 million square feet and supported by more than 200 employees. The company claims more than 85 customers mostly involved in the automotive, chemical and food sectors.
