Nord Stream Changes Pipeline Route

Nord Stream Company decided to change the route of the projected gas pipeline from Russia to Germany on the Baltic Sea bed.



The new gas pipeline will be laid to the south from the Bornholm island, which will lengthen it by 8 km.



The decision to change the route was made due to the ecological studies, which showed that the pipeline transfer will reduce the risk to the environment to the minimum.
