NOL adds Singapore businessman as board member

Neptune Orient Lines, the parent of container line APL, said Monday it has appointed Singaporean businessman Boon Swan Foo to its board of directors.

Boon is executive chairman of Exploit Technologies Pte Ltd., the strategic marketing arm of Singapore's Agency for Science, Technology and Research. Boon has also held various high-level roles in both the public and private sectors, including stints as managing director of A*STAR and deputy chairman and chief executive of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd.
