Holland named APHIS CIO

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service has named Marilyn Holland its chief information officer and director of the information technology division.

She will be responsible for the agency's information technology planning, design, application development, systems administration, telecommunications, security and information management and customer support services.

Holland joined APHIS as its deputy CIO in 2006 and has served as acting CIO since February 2008.
