BA World Cargo to raise fuel surcharge

British Airways World Cargo will increase its fuel surcharge to ?.87/$1.35/1.35 euro, effective July 31.

The airline said the increase follows a second consecutive week that its fuel index has been above the level 27 threshold.

With the price of fuel continuing to escalate, it is necessary for us to increase our fuel surcharge, in line with the index,?said Adam Carson, BA World Cargo's senior manager revenue management.
