Worldwide Flight Services has won a competitive tender to provide cargo, ramp and passenger handling services for South Korea's Asiana Airlines in France.
Under terms of the contract, WFS will represent the airline at all of its stations in France, including the Paris airports of Charles de Gaulle and Orly, as well as Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Strasbourg and Toulouse.
Asiana launched services between Seoul and Paris at the end of March and now operates three Boeing 777 flights a week from Paris CDG to Seoul, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. As well as providing passenger and ramp services, WFS expects to handle some 3,600 tons of cargo for the Korean airline in its first year of operation.
WFS already provides handling services for the Asiana in Brussels in Belgium and Frankfurt, Germany.
