Monaco to lead Shipco's business development in Canada

Shipco Transport has named Vince Monaco to vice president of business development in Canada, effective July 1.

The Hoboken, N.J.-based non-vessel-operating common carrier also appointed Eddy Dumouchel to sales and development manager in Canada.

Both Monaco and Dumouchel will be based out of Shipco's Montreal office. Jette Fortin continues as general manager of Shipco's Canadian operation.

The time was right to build upon our successes in Canada and further develop our presence there, said Christian Mogelvang, Shipco's president, in a statement.

Shipco is a subsidiary of Scan-Group, an international shipping and transportation company, based in Copenhagen with more than 1,200 employees in owned offices worldwide. Shipco is also a founding member of the WorldWide Alliance.
