Babel planning to establish an agricultural airport

The Director of Babel Agriculture, Engineer Fadhil Hussein, has announced the province's intention to establish an agricultural airport at Al-Kifl area, for the purpose of combating pests and diseases that adversely affect the agricultural production.

 

The project will cost more than two billion dinars within a plan to implement service projects for farmers; he added that two agriculture divisions will be established in both districts of Al-Qasim and Al-Shomeli for the development of agricultural and increase the rates of production in those areas.

He also referred to the development of 200 acres of forest area in the district of Al-Mahaweel and organizing training courses abroad to raise the efficiency of workers in the agricultural departments in Babil.
