Transnautic starts Frankfurt/Moscow air charters

May 29, 2008 Logistics

Transnautic Aero GmbH, Germany's largest general cargo sales and service agency (GSSA) has commenced three-times-weekly air cargo services from Frankfurt Hahn to Moscow utilizing chartered Boeing 737 freighter aircraft.

The company said the new service provides much-needed additional capacity on the route on days when Transnautic's principal Aeroflot either does not operate its scheduled DC10 freighters, or they are already full.

We have begun these flights in order to provide more consistent capacity for our large and loyal customer base in Germany. Our first two flights operated full, proving that there is real demand for this service, said Transnautic's Managing Director Mike Staeck.

In addition to Aeroflot, Transnautic represents more than 20 other airlines through seven offices at Germany's major airports. The company also has subsidiaries in Russia, France and Poland.
