CHINA Cargo Airlines, owned by China Eastern, has launched three new services from Shanghai to Xian, Nanning and Lanzhou, mainly to carry express packages, Xinhua reports.
Transit times are said to be cut by nearly half. China Cargo Airlines also plans to roll out time-definite express services on European and US routes as a step to break into the international express market.
The carrier has been operating six routes from Shanghai to Wuhan, Nanchang, Kunming, Guangzhou, Zhengzhou and Changsha.
