Kerry Logistics opens up in Chongqing and Shanghai area Kunshan

HONG KONG-based Kerry Logistics has opened two new logistics centres in Chongqing and Kunshan, expanding the company's national network and range of services to its customers in these fast growing cities.


The first phase of the Chongqing Kerry Logistics Centre occupies 20,500 square metres, which will offer regional distribution service in southwest China districts including Sichuan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces. Target industries include the electronics, hi-tech, fashion, automotive and pharmaceuticals.


Located at the southeastern tip of Kunshan city, 45 kilometres from downtown Shanghai and similar distance to Suzhou, the new Kerry Kunshan Logistics Centre features an 18,800 square-metre facility to serve east China region, including Shanghai, Nanjing and Hefei provinces. Target industries include the electronics, hi-tech and pharmaceuticals.


"The new facilities in Chongqing and Kunshan add to our existing China network of 130 offices and logistics centres and continue our strategy of expanding our presence in emerging and second tier cities across the country," said the company's managing director for mainland China Edwardo Erni.
