On Time group sets up time critical solutions division

THE On Time Group, a Hong Kong-based forwarder and logistics provider with 33 regional offices, has announced its entry into the Asian and global handcarry market through the establishment of its time critical solutions division.


"On Time has already been servicing customers' and partner agents' handcarry and time critical requirements for several years," said co-owner and managing director Hardy Haenisch.


"At the beginning of 2010 it became apparent that our established network and infrastructure were ideally placed for not only meeting our local customers' needs, but also to serve demand from our global agents for a neutral Asian specialist."


Devon Bovenlander, director of the time critical solutions division at On Time Express said the company's "transit on time" product offering guarantees customers the fastest possible transit times by having someone personally accompany shipments from pick up to final delivery.


Mr Bovenlander expects shipments to be mostly contractual documents, semiconductors, auto parts for a production line and ship spares.


"Flyers are booked on the scheduled passenger flight that best suits the customers shipment ready time and we are able to offer deadlines of up to 90 minutes before flight departure, 24/7 pick-up and delivery, expedited customs clearance and 24/7 customer service to keep them updated every step of the way," said Mr Bovenlander in a statement.
