Weiss Roehlig starts Taiwan-Prague consolidation service

LOGISTICS firm Weiss Rohlig has commenced a new weekly consolidation service between Taiwan and Prague in the Czech Republic.


"There is growing demand from shippers in Taiwan for a weekly scheduled service to the Czech Republic and we decided to launch the consolidation service and we have had an excellent response from our customers" said the company's managing director for Taiwan, Holger Stoelker, in a company statement.


He said the logistics firm provides scheduled trucking and rail services from major European ports into Eastern Europe supported on the ground through its network of offices in Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria and Ukraine.


Weiss-Roehlig, is a joint venture between the Austrian transport and logistics company Gebrueder Weiss and the Bremen-based freight forwarding company Roehlig. The companies have been represented in the Asian market for more than 10 years.
