Cosco imposes US$150 per TEU Asia-Europe bunker fee

COSCO Container Lines has announced that it will levy an emergency bunker surcharge of US$150 per TEU including reefer cargo, for its Far East-Europe services from March 15.


This decision follows its earlier announcement for $300 per TEU rate increase for Asia-Europe loops starting April 1 and a $90 per TEU container imbalance fee from March 17.
