FLYNT International Forwarders and its group companies have now been merged and consolidated under the brand of Barloworld Logistics in Hong Kong and China since being acquired by the supply chain management services provider in 2008.
The rebranded operation in mainland China is based in Shanghai and includes Guangzhou as one of its branches.
"Our strategic intent is to provide supply chain management solutions to medium and large corporate customers. Fundamentally, we want to demonstrate our capabilities in the supply chain management through our freight forwarding, warehousing and distribution offerings that we acquired from Flynt," said Deon Heyns, managing director for the Barloworld Logistics Far East operations.
The company provides customs clearance, export documentation, air freight, sea freight, warehousing, local transport, demand planning, inventory management, project cargo and event management.
