RUSSIA's Volga-Dnepr Airlines, the heavy lift cargo carrier, has signed a long-term aviation fuel contract with Aerofuels Group for refuelling at its hub at Russia's Ulyanovsk Vostochny airport in central Russia.

The TZK Aerofuels and Aerofuels Ulyanovsk fuelling facility will supply the required annual fuel volume for all of Volga-Dnepr's flights at the airport.

"We have been cooperating with Volga-Dnepr Group both in Ulyanovsk and at other Russian airports for more than 10 years," says Aerofuels Group director general Vladimir Spiridonov. "We also help organise fuelling abroad."

Said Volga Dnepr supply chief Maxim Astashin: "We hope for further efficient cooperation with Aerofuels Group and are confident about the reliability of our long-standing fuelling partner".
