Jilin province to spend US$8.6 billion on infrastructure

NORTHEAST China's Jilin province plans to invest US$8.6 billion in logistics construction including inland depot and an airport logistics park as well as a food warehouse over the next five years, reports Xinhua.


Six inland and airport areas costing $2.16 million will be located at Changchun inland port, Changchun airport logistics park and Jilin's inland port logistics park covering an area of one million square metres.


Additionally, the province will invest $3 billion to build 15 new logistics park areas in six cities with a site area of 18 square kilometres, and $3.5 billion to build 46 logistics centres and $1.1 billion to build a food and grain warehouse and other food distribution facilities.
