Independent association of air freight wholesale specialists, Air Cargo Group, has two major events planned for South America this year to further develop global partnerships and value-added international services exclusively for freight forwarders.
Air Cargo Group (ACG) members will gather in Buenos Aires from March 29 to April 1 for their seventh annual conference and, along with its global partners, will exhibit at Intermodal South America in Sao Paulo from April 5-7.
Air Cargo Group was established in 2004 by prominent neutral wholesalers such as Group Air Consolidators, Air Lift Wholesale Freight, Shipco Air Freight, Saco Air Freight, New Charter SRL, Pace Express, NAC Consolidators,Handling and Services Argentina, G-Logisco Group, and Air World Express among others.
ACG director Christos Spyrou said the two major events offered the opportunity to showcase capabilities and cost-effective access to cargo aircraft and airfreight hubs.
"ACG offers a network of air freight wholesalers around the world committed to delivering benefits exclusively to the international freight forwarding industry and our annual conference and Intermodal South America offer a great opportunity to explore business growth opportunities," Mr Spyrou said.
"ACG advantages include access to special air freight consolidation rates, air cargo charters and specialized air transport handling whether it's airport-to-airport or airport-to-door, particularly remote destinations."
Mr Spyrou said a strong natural resources sector and the upcoming 2014 World Cup and 2016 Olympics Games made South America an ideal region to tap into ACG services.
