World Courier opens third office in Guangzhou

Jan 11, 2011 Logistics

In anticipation of a dynamic new phase of economic growth in southern China, World Courier has opened its third wholly foreign-owned office in Guangzhou.

"Successful companies realise that China is not one market, but a series of regional markets," says Allen Yan, general manager for World Courier (Shanghai). "While a closer Guangzhou-Hong Kong service circle is being shaped to boost global competitiveness in this part of China, many challenges remain."

"Growth in pharmaceutical/R&D investment, the automotive industry and high-tech manufacturing in this region has led to heightened demand for temperature-controlled and time-critical transport and logistics services. With the opening of the Guangzhou office, World Courier provides the expertise and logistical infrastructure needed to help drive these industries forward."
