FedEx Express offers later pick-up for E China-US shipments

FEDEX EXPRESS says it has further enhanced its same-day international shipping services from Eastern China to the US by extending pick-up times by up to two hours, Monday through Friday.

Customers in 25 Eastern China cities can now arrange for shipments destined for the US to be picked up as late as 6pm to provide customers with greater flexibility.

"The latest service enhancement builds on the improvements Eastern China experienced from the launch of 777 Freighter in January of this year, which flies direct from Shanghai to the FedEx Super Hub in Memphis, Tennessee. The 777F has increased FedEx services capabilities through its fuel and operational efficiencies," a statement from FedEx said.

"The recent service enhancements from Eastern China to Europe and now to the US are testimonies of our commitment to go above and beyond in offering our customers best-in-class services," said FedEx Express Asia Pacific president David Cunningham.
