Shanghai's Juneyao Airlines opts for Hactl

SHANGHAI-based Juneyao Airlines (HO) has appointed Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd (Hactl), as its cargo ground handler at Hong Kong International Airport to support its first international destination and new service between Hong Kong and Shanghai.

Hactl will provide physical cargo handling and air cargo documentation services to its newly launched daily scheduled passenger flight of A320 following a successful inaugural flight mid December.

Hactl general marketing manager Lilian Chan said the appointment underlined its position as a market leader and the expansion of its airline customer base. "Hactl is committed to providing the best quality cargo handling services to Juneyao Airlines, supporting the carrier's business growth in the Hong Kong," she said in a company statement.

Juneyao general manager cargo Hua Yang said it is of strategic importance to Juneyao to partner with Hactl. "Hactl has excellent reputation in premier service with particular emphasis on safety, security and efficiency," he added.
