AUSTRALIAN flag carrier Qantas has revealed that its Sydney to Buenos Aires Flight 17 was forced to return to Sydney Monday after discovering a suspected electrical fault, according to the company's statement.

The B747 aircraft departed at 11:11am and landed safely back at Sydney Airport at 1:22 pm.

This was the third Qantas aircraft to run into trouble lately following the engine problems on its A380 and another of its B747s.
