GOVERNMENTAL statistics showed that China's northern province Qinghai's cargo traffic grew 13.2 per cent in the first nine months year on year to 85.7 million tonnes, Xinhua reported.
Railway cargo traffic increased 21.5 per cent to 23.8 million tonnes. Road traffic went 10.6 per cent up to 60.5 million tonnes. Air cargo traffic surged 130 per cent to 3,920 tonnes.
Container cargo increased 61.7 per cent. Textiles surged 180 per cent. Coal went 8.1 per cent up.
