For 3 days, 8 – 10 December 2010, the 4th edition of the largest and definitive International Maritime Expo, INMEX China 2010 will be held in Guangzhou, the commercial capital of the region, at the China Import & Export Fair, Pazhou Complex (Pazhou HallI).This well recognized trade exhibition is very timely, taking advantage of China’s undisputed, and recently promoted, standing as the world’s largest shipbuilder in all key measures including ship deliveries, deadweight and gross tonnage (Lloyd’s List July 21, 2010).
Guangzhou Port is situated at the intersection of the three most important rivers of Dongjiang, Xijiang and Beijing in South China. All the three rivers have the waterway, railway, expressway and air lines intersecting here, thus forming a critical transportation hub. Guangzhou is the main port of focus in the Pearl River Delta Region with one of the largest ports of the world, comprising 4600 berths, 133 buoys and 2359 anchorages each of 1,000 tonnage class and the largest capacity is 3,000 tons.
INMEX China 2010 provides a strategic gateway for key industry players to explore new business opportunities especially in the Southern China through an extensive showcase of cutting-edge marine technologies and marine services and equipment presented by both China and International Exhibitors.
