The DB Schenker Logistics organization in Spain has a new brand. As from now, “DB Schenker Spain-Tir” will be the sole brand for all of the services and products, provided by the companies Spain-Tir Transportes Internacionales, S.A. and Schenker España, S.A.
“It is our goal to preserve the high Spain-Tir brand equity and reputation in the Spanish market and to show our customers at the same time that our counry organization is now really part of our global network,” says Karl Nutzinger, Member of the Management Board of Schenker AG responsible for Land Transport and the Regions in Europe. “We want to make sure that our customers can rely on the wide range of services they are familiar with.
Furthermore, we will enrich our service offerings, in order to make sure that all our customers in Spain will benefit from the advantages of the global DB Schenker presence.”
“The new logo is also a visible sign for new business goals,” explaines Jaume Ballester, President and Chairman of DB Schenker Logistics in Spain. “One of them is to establish the logistics division as a market leader both for its competitiveness and its expertise. It has the necessary physical and human resources and holds the highest quality certificates in the areas of pharmaceuticals, high-tech and general industry.”
Another priority goal is to intensify the air and ocean freight offerings for the Spanish market, as DB Schenker holds top positions in this field, globally.
A third goal is to expand the position in the international and domestic land transportation segment, offering new, more specialised services such as full truck loads.
The new logo and design will be implemented immediately on all digital and printed formats and will be rolled out progressively to the company's vehicle fleet, employee uniforms and facilities in Spain.
