EVA Airways swung to a net profit in the January-September period from a net loss a year earlier, reported Dow Jones Newswires.
EVA, Taiwan's second-largest airline by revenue after China Airlines, saw net profit for the nine months ended September 30 total US$361.05 million compared with a net loss of $127.43 million in the same period of 2009.
Revenue rose 54 percent to $2.57 billion from $1.68 billion.
