NCC to Build Logistics Complex

26 September 2007 National Container Co. will start the construction of the logistics complex in Shushary in Saint-Petersburg.

This complex will include the container terminal, which will allow to store 10 th. TEU of loaded containers and 4.5 th. TEU of empty ones.

According to company's press-service putting this terminal into operation will increase the capacity of the First Container terminal as containers will be delivered from the port right to the terminal and stored there.

Besides the container terminal it is also planned to build a logistics center. The construction works will be held on the area of 90 hectares. The volume of investments during the first stage will total $85 mln.
