Mega trucks to be tested on a large scale

There will be no national test of mega trucks in Germany, but the transport ministers of seven German states agreed to participate in long-distance tests. The seven states account for 70% of Germany's territory. Gigaliner trucks of up to 44 tons are to be tested from 2011 in Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, Hesse, Lower Saxony, Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and Thuringia, according to Logistics Finland.
