St Louis gets boost with Alaska Air Cargo Seattle flights

ST LOUIS, in the midst of trying to create a China air freight hub, got a boost with the arrival of Alaska Air Cargo's first non-stop service from Seattle to the Midwest metropolis.

The airline's GoldStreak Package Express provides same day service between St Louis and Seattle with connections to more than 80 destinations in the Alaska Air and Horizon Air Cargo networks. Alaska and Horizon are subsidiaries of the Alaska Air Group, reports American Shipper.

Airfreight on Alaska Air Cargo's Seattle-St Louis service will be transported within the bellyhold of a Boeing 737 passenger aircraft.
