Boeing gets four more 777 orders

Boeing Co has booked four more orders for its 777 aircraft, The Associated Press reported.

The announcement comes a day after Hong Kong-based Cathay Pacific Airways said it would exercise options to buy six more Boeing 777-300ERs.

Boeing didn't identify the customer in yesterday’s purchase.

The four new orders mean Chicago-based Boeing has sold 38 of the 777s this year. Their list price is about US$205 million to $286 million each, although discounts are common.
