Cargolux boosts transpacific, and adds 4th Taipei service

LUXEMBOURG air freight carrier Cargolux has started a fifth transpacific service as well as adding a fourth weekly flight to Taipei, using Boeing 747-400 freighters to carry mostly machinery, spare parts, computers and electric goods.


The Luxembourg flight CV 7306 departs at 1540 hrs on Saturdays, arriving in Singapore at 0940 hrs on Sunday morning and in Hong Kong at 1535 hrs on Sunday afternoon.


Flight CV 7317 departs from Hong Kong at 1735 hrs the same day, with arrival in Los Angeles on Sunday evening at 1825 hrs. From Los Angeles, CV 7711 departs on the same day at 2025 hrs with arrival in Luxembourg at 1545 hrs on Monday afternoon.


The existing four transpacific flights leave Luxembourg on Wednesday evening, operated via Almaty Kazakhstan, on Thursday evening and on Saturday morning, operated via Beirut and Baku, and on Sunday morning, operated via Riyadh, with arrivals in Hong Kong on Thursday afternoon, on Friday evening, on Sunday morning, and on Monday morning. These four flights continue to Chicago and New York, reports UK's Transport Intelligence.
