Delta, AirTran among airlines pay US$30 million to Atlanta

ATLANTA's Hartsfield Jackson International Terminal is to receive US$30 million in a lease agreement with airlines that include its largest carriers by traffic volume Delta Air Lines and AirTran Airways to fund its construction aimed for completion by 2012 at an estimated bill of $1.4 billion.

The lease runs from 2013 to 2016 with supplementary terminal payments of $30 million to run over this period and feed into the Maynard H Jackson Jr International Terminal predicted to increase both international passenger levels and cargo volumes.
