China Southern Airlines, the largest airline in China, has launched direct service between Beijing and Tashkent, capital of Uzbekistan and the largest city in Central Asia to cater for the growing demand, said Xinhua.
Using an Airbus 330-200, flights are scheduled on Thursdays and Sundays. "The launch of the route would facilitate personal exchanges and trade relations between China and Central Asia," said a company executive.
