United Parcel Service appoints new Singapore chief

EXPRESS delivery giant United Parcel Service (UPS) has appointed Greg Carstens as managing director of its Singapore-based activities.

Mr Carstens spent three years directing UPS Thailand operations, including through the political strive to ensure uninterrupted operations, said the UPS statement. He also directed UPS humanitarian relief in Burma (Myanmar) after the typhoon two years ago.
