Better road depresses demand for Angolan air cargo

Aug 20, 2010 Logistics

BETTER roads in Angola are weakening the air cargo market, reports the grieving Diexim Express executive director David Neto, according to the AngloPress Agency.

"Despite airlines being the fastest and most secure, there is already a highway that has been improving day after day", said Mr Neto, who added that makes air cargo less profitable.

Diexim Expresso is an airline based in Luanda, Angola, with five aircraft, according to Wikipedia. It operates scheduled services linking the main towns and cities in Angola, as well as VIP flights and charter services within the country and to Namibia. Its main base is Quatro de Fevereiro Airport, Luanda.
